What Is Product Enrichment?

Enrichment extracts missing data from your live product pages and adds it as structured attributes. Your feed has title, description, price. Your live page has specifications, ingredients, size guides, warranty info. Enrichment makes that data available.

Enrichment Methods

Web Scraping Enrichment

EcomIQX visits your live product pages and extracts: specification tables, ingredient lists, size guides, care instructions, warranty information. No configuration needed — just run enrichment.

AI Enrichment

For products where pages lack data, AI infers attributes from descriptions and images: materials, dimensions, care instructions, FAQ generation.

Running Enrichment

1. Go to Catalog > select products or category
2. Click "Enrich" and choose method (Web Scraping + AI Fallback recommended)
3. Enrichment runs in background — large catalogs take 1-2 hours
4. Review results: green = enriched, yellow = partial, red = no data found

Category Gap Detection

After enrichment, gap detection identifies missing attributes by comparing products within the same category. If 85% of "Face Powder" products have a shade attribute but yours does not, it is flagged as a high-severity gap.

Each gap shows: missing attribute, category coverage percentage, severity level, and estimated health score impact if fixed.
